If you want a sweet treat, this is the recipe for you!
Preheat oven to 200 fan forced.
Melt butter and golden syrup together in a saucepan.
Stir the bi-carb soda with the boiling water.
Combine all dry ingredients (flour, sugar, rolled oats and decicated coconut) in a large mixing bowl.
Add the melted butter and golden syrup, bi-carb soda mix, milk and stir.
Spoon teaspoonfuls of anzac cookie mixture onto baking paper, making sure they are seperated.
Place anzac biscuits into oven for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
Once taken out of oven, place on a wire rack to cool.
If you prefer crisp, thinner biscuits, add an extra teaspoonful of boiling water.
