Mix the flour, salt and cream. Then add enough water to make dough easy to manage (the water should be put in the cream carton to give it a little more cream.)
Tip the dough onto the table and gently shape dough. Using a rolling pin, press out the dough to the desired thickness. Be careful not to overwork the dough.
Cut into squares or use scone cutters.
Place the delicate scones on lightly floured oven tray or baking paper. I like to bake mine close together!
Bake in a preheated 200 degrees C for 12 -15 minutes.
Serve with the usual...jam and cream, there’s nothing better!

I make these all the time except I use lemonade not water. They are so tasty and light and fluffy. Cannot make scones any other way.
