Crusted Fish

This recipe is easy to make and always a favorite with the family


  • fish fillets x 6

  • dash paprika

  • flour plain good handful

  • pepper

  • 1 egg beaten

  • breadcrumbs about 1 cup

  • grated parmesan cheese about 3/4 cup

  • oil to your choice

  • i use grapeseed or rice oil

  • lemon thyme butter

  • approx 60 gr

  • grated lemon rind

  • lemon juice

  • chopped fresh thyme or lemon thyme

  • pat your fish dry

  • comibine the flour and paprika and pepper and dust the fish fillets with that

  • dip each fillet into the egg, and then coat with the crumbs and cheese

  • i like to put it in the fridge for about 15 min

  • heat oil and fry fish over medium heat for about 3-4 min until each side is cooked

  • to make lemon thyme butter

  • heat butter and lemon rind and juice and thyme in either microwave or on stove till butter melts serve drizzled over fish.

  • serve with steamed vegetables in season and sweet potato

  • bon appetit
