Method

  • 1.

    I ROUGHLY PEEL THE SPUDS

  • 2.

    SPOTS OF SKIN LEFT ON ARE OK BUT REMOVE ANY EYES

  • 3.

    CUT IN HALF FOR SMALL SPUDS AND QUARTER FOR LARGE

  • 4.

    PLACE IN POT AND JUST COVER WITH COLD WATER

  • 5.

    BRING TO BOIL ON HIGH

  • 6.

    CHECK WITH FORK OR SKEWER UNTIL JUST TENDER

  • 7.

    A BIT HARD IN CENTRE IS OK

  • 8.

    DRAIN WATER AND PLACE BACK ON LOW HEAT STOVE TOP

  • 9.

    ADD COPIOUS AMOUNTS BUTTER ( NO MILK ) AND SEASON TO TASTE

  • 10.

    VOILA, YOU'RE DONE

FOR ABOUT 3 LARGE SPUDS I WOULD PUT ABOUT 100GRAMS OF BUTTER
