  1. I ROUGHLY PEEL THE SPUDS
  2. SPOTS OF SKIN LEFT ON ARE OK BUT REMOVE ANY EYES
  3. CUT IN HALF FOR SMALL SPUDS AND QUARTER FOR LARGE
  4. PLACE IN POT AND JUST COVER WITH COLD WATER
  5. BRING TO BOIL ON HIGH
  6. CHECK WITH FORK OR SKEWER UNTIL JUST TENDER
  7. A BIT HARD IN CENTRE IS OK
  8. DRAIN WATER AND PLACE BACK ON LOW HEAT STOVE TOP
  9. ADD COPIOUS AMOUNTS BUTTER ( NO MILK ) AND SEASON TO TASTE
  10. VOILA, YOU'RE DONE
