These came about after my neighbour kindly bought me one of hers. I have been messing with the ingredients ever since hoping to make some that are nice also and came up with these. They are nice with a hot cup of tea in the afternoon maybe with some butter spread in them.
Preheat oven to 190C and line a 12 hole muffine pan with liners.
Sift flour, baking powder, salt, pepper together then gently mix in the rest of spices.
In a seperate bowl lightly beat the eggs, add to this the milk, oil, cheese and garlic.
Combine the wet to the dry and add remaining ingredients until is a nice consistency.
If too thick add some small amount of milk.
Bake for 15 to 20 minutes until a skewer inserted into the biggest one comes out clean.
Store in an airtight container.
These freeze well if you want to make a double batch so you always have something fast on hand.
