Cassava Cake


simple but divine

Serves 10 to 15

Ingredients

  • 500 gr grated cassava
  • 560 ml coconut cream
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk

Method

  1. preheat oven to 160C
  2. mixed all ingredients together except sweetened condensed milk, pour the mixture to a greased baking pan.
  3. Baked for 35-40 minutes, or until slightly brown, topped c ake with condensed milk then cook for another 15-20 mins or until milk start to brown. Remove from the oven. Let it cool then serve

    Hi Marie what a very easy sounding recipe I have been searching for a recipe like this for a while.. actually ever since I tried CASSAVA CAKE at a Break up party after a Computer course I did where everyone had to cook & bring something from their own background My question Can I use Frozen Cassava for this recipe as I just bought some from an Asian grocery store Many thanks Krystyna Cooks
