Brownies (My version)

This recipe is originated from an old cook book my mom got it when we were in the U.S. I make few adjustments and it turned so yummy. Hope you like it. Original recipe is posted here as well.

  1. Melt chocolate in steel deep plate over hot, not boiling, water. Or melt it in a microwave and stir every 30 seconds. Cool.
  2. Sift flour, cocoa, baking powder, instant pudding and salt. Set aside.
  3. In large bowl, beat eggs, vanilla and sugar at medium speed until light, for about 5 minutes.
  4. Beat in melted chocolate, water and Oil.
  5. Using wooden spoon, stir in flour mixture, instant pudding and nuts.
  6. Spread evenly in lightly greased and floured baking tray, size 8 x 10 inch.
  7. Bake in 350F (180C) preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes. Cool for 10 minutes.
  8. Cut to square and serve.

If you want, just prepare those Brownies, let them cool, and then keep in air-tight container. You can keep it in the freezer to take out later a piece whever u feel like having one, let me thaw OR heat it in microwave on DEFROST for 60 seconds max, just till warm and soft. It'll be as if just came out of the oven right now.. have it plain, or with chocolate syrup on top or a scoop of ice cream.. soooo YUMMMY.
