Blueberry Tiramisu:

Yummy cheesy creamy easy recipe. A new variation of Tiramisu. Having it feels like summer and tastes so heavenly. I found this recipe on one of the sites, and thought of trying it, but I made some changes and it turned out just perfect.

  • 2 cups whipping cream

  • ½ cup icing sugar

  • 250gm mascarpone cheese (or cream cheese like Puck or Al Maraaí), room temperature and softened

  • 2 (36gm or 42gm) sachets Dream whip (Powdered dessert topping mix)

  • ¼ cup milk

  • 1 (21oz or 595gm) can Blueberry pie filling

  • 36 ladyfinger biscuits (Savoiardi)

  • 1 ½ cup lemonade juice

  • 1.

In large bowl, beat cheese, dream whip, sugar, and milk with electric mixer at medium speed for about 5 minutes.

  • 2.

In another bowl, beat whipping cream till it thickens and forms stiff peaks. Gently fold in the cheese mixture until well combined.

  • 3.

Pour juice in a plate. Dip biscuits horizontally in juice for a second and arrange in a 13x9inch baking dish to cover the bottom.

  • 4.

Spoon half the cream cheese mixture over biscuits. Top with half of the pie filling.

  • 5.

Repeat with same steps above to form another layer of juice-dipped biscuits, cheese mixture and pie filling.

  • 6.

Cover dish with plastic wrap and chill in fridge for at least 8 hours or overnight.

  • 7.

    Cut and serve.

what is the difference between dream whip and whipping cream??
Posted by Huda Abu HamdiaReport
Hi dear .. sorry for the late reply.
The dream whip is a powder that you would find under the same name in our regions, and it's sweetened and u can use it only in desserts, and it's non dairy..
As for the whipping cream, it's a liquid dairy product, that have high % fat, and if not sweetened can be used in food and sweets. when you whip it, it hardens and becomes thick cream of a spread texture.
hope this helps my dear, and let me know if you have any other question. pls send you inquiry to this mail:
