Heat butter and oil in a heavy based pot. Add onion, cinnamon, cloves, all spice and cardamon.
Braise until well browned. Add Meat. Cook for 30 min. Then add Tomato and remaining Spices. Cook on medium heat for about 1 hour or until meat is tender.
Add Garlic and Ginger Paste. Then add 1 cup of water and simmer for 10 min.
Serve with Rice.
Garnish with Fresh Coriander.

Many people generally serve a curry with rice. I love to serve this with a hot bed of creamy mashed potato.
