Fruit Skewers Bombe Alaska

    Add the sugar to the egg whites in a mixing bowl and add a squeeze of lemon. Over a bain marie, whisk the mixture with energy until the meringue forms. Leave the mixture to harden slightly.

  • 2.

    Cut the banana and pawpaw into cubes. Cut the green tops off the strawberries. Skewer one piece of each fruit and coat in the hardened meringue.
