Combine dates and water, simmer for 5 minutes together with bicarbonate soda until soft.
Cream butter and sugar, then add eggs, date mixture and flour
Put in oven at 180 degree for 20 minutes or until cook.
For the sauce, add the butter and sugar with the strawberries and cook for 1 minute and the add the grand mariner and flambé until strawberries are rich in colour
Add cream and serve warm.
