Long Island Iced Tea recipe:
1 part vodka, 1 part white Tequila, 1 part white rum, 1 part gin, 1 part Cointreau
1 1/2 parts sweet and sour mix
1 splash Coca-Cola®
Mix ingredients together over ice in a glass. Pour into a shaker and give one brisk shake. Pour back into the glass and make sure there is a touch of fizz at the top. Garnish with lemon.
Some people use flavoured iced tea or juice instead of Coca Cola but that gets a bit sickly sweet, and the fizz from the coke gives a nice lift to it.
Let's just hope Alex isn't there making snide suggestions about their 'sexual' nature!!!!!! THAT put me off BIG TIME!
I just made Trudi's grissinni sticks for a dinner party I'm going to with the girls tonight. Here's hoping they are a hit :)
im thinking of making them for a dinner party....were they a hit???

Thank you for that - that is the recipe I was after too. By the way, you did well trudi.
I loved the recipes from Trudi, however I would love the recipe for the long island ice tea drink to make it all come together. Would this be possible
