Stir-fried Choy Sum with Yellow Beans


  • 1 bunch choy sum (or other green, chinese vegetable)

  • 2 tbsp yellow bean paste

  • 2 cloves garlic

  • 3 birds eye chillies

  • oil

  • chicken stock

  • pinch of sugar


  • 1.

    Pound garlic and chilli in Mortar and Pestle until smooth.

  • 2.

    Heat some oil in a wok until very hot, stir fry garlic / chilli mix followed by the Choy Sum. Finish it off by adding some yellow bean paste, chicken stock and a pinch of sugar.
