Protein Shake with Berries

Ingredients

  • 2 cups quinoa, almond or good soy milk

  • 2 tsp spirulina powder

  • 1 tbls lsa

  • ½ cup granola

  • 1 cup mixed berries

  • 1 tbls lecithin granules

  • honey or agave to taste

Method

  • 1.

    Place all ingredients in a blender and process til smooth. Serve in a tall glass.

I have made this shake and have had it for the past week for breakfast. I love it, I have mad a few changes 1. couldn't find any granola so I used no salt, no sugar lite vita brit. 2. can't stand soy milk so I just used skinny milk. My friend calls it my shrek juice, but I love it...It makes me feel full until lunch and has helped me start the day better. Thanks Janella I love watching you on the show and look forward to trying more receipes. :)

LSA you will find in the health food section of your supermarket or at the health food store, it is linseed, sunflower seed and almonds all ground up...I don't like granola so I used wheat germ instead which was better but soaks up more milk...

Just awesome protein drink! I dont have it for breakie, I have it for my midday drink!
Can not find granola with out sugar, so I just skip it! Really dont need it.

Loved this & felt great all day after I had it. I didn't even have a 2pm energy drop. I used a high protein cereal instead of granola & don't have spirulina. I used almond milk... yummy!
