Steak Sirloin with parsly and lemon


This is a simple way to have meat. BBQ it, cook it in a pan or even over a open wood fire, pour over some chopped parsley and evoo and a squeeze of lemon juice. This is also great with some onion rings or a nice lettuce leaf salad.

Serves 4

Ingredients

  • 4 sirloin 240gm
  • 1/4 bunch parsley, roughly chopped
  • Sea salt
  • 1 lemon juiced
  • Extra virgin olive oil ( evoo)

Method

  1. Seaon your steak with EVOO and salt. Simply cook the steak to your likening. Then let rest for half the cooking time. While resting place parlsy ontop and a little EVOO and a squeeze of lemon juice. Once rested place Steaks on a plate and pour over the juices from the resting tray. Season with salt and youre done. A nice crushed kipfler potaot salad would be great with this.

Notes & Tips

Remember if you buy great steak there is no need to do anything to it expet cook it. So always source the best. I prefer a 3week dry aged Steak. you can ask your butcher to do this for you.
