Tomatoe Soup


A nice winters day meal

Ingredients

  • 1-2 tins of of tined tomatos
  • A good sprinkle of salt and pepper
  • A good bunch of parsely and basil
  • A cup of chicken stock, salt reduced
  • 1/2 a cup of water
  • A nob of cooking butter/maragrine
  • 2-3 cloves of garlic
  • A whole onion

Method

  1. Put the nob of butter, the garlic and the onion into the pot to fry of for a little nit
  2. 2The add the tomatoes to the pot with the the onoin and garlic, After the tomatos have cooked done a little bit add the stock, water and the parsely and basil,
  3. Season the soup and then turn down the heat and leat it simmer for about an hour
  4. Put the soup through the blender/processor to become a nice consistancy.
  5. You can put a leaf of basil or parsely for garnish if you wish

Notes & Tips

If you would like you may want to put to add a few peices of macaroni, but be careful that it doesnt become a big glug of pasta and tomatoe sauce.
