Warm Cabbage,carrot & pancetta salad


a great partner to chicken, fish or beef meals Crunchy & sweet kids love it!

Ingredients

Method

  1. Finely shred cabbage
  2. finely julienne carrots
  3. finely dice onion
  4. melt butter and add cabbage, carrot & onion to fry pan
  5. and sweat down, roughly chop pancetta to pan, add honey
  6. stir altogether until conbined
  7. season to taste

Notes & Tips

To dress it up a bit, make up mixture less the pancetta press small amount into moulds layer diced pieces of pancetta and little lumps of good Australian fetta repeat until full cover with baking paper and tie, cook for 10 minutes in oven on 150 degrees slide off mould and serve with beef, venison, chicken or fish & crusty ciabatta bread
