Personally, the most irritating theme music is Bill Granger's "Soul kinda Feeling" I LOATHED the song when it came out in the 80's and now I still cringe everytime I hear it.

Poor Bill - but yep, I would have to agree with you both on that! I also grind my teeth whenever I hear Chef At Home's theme song too - but I LOVE Michael Smith.
My all time fave is Two Fat Ladies theme....."Grab that crab, Clarissa! Beat that meat, Jennifer...." Love it :)

Not exactly the Theme music but the background music of Rick Steins French Odyssey, was so French I could almost taste it. Lovely stuff.
