Would anyone know why my mince that I was cooking last night on the cooktop exploded? It went everywhere, I was lucky that I wasn't stirring it at the tme.

It is a glass ceramic electric stove top and it was a stainless steel frypan. Doesn't figure!

Jane, I too would love an answer! Happened me last night. Mince everywhere. Thank God my 8 yr old was not beside me. Need to re-paint the ceiling. went to Chinese for dinner instead.
