Ate here last night (18th August) for my sister's 21st birthday. We had 10 guests eating. Started off with one of the side plates having a brown ring of grease along the inside of it, which we took and had swapped for a clean one. Meals came out in good time and looked absolutely yummy. I had the Surf and Turf and asked for it very well done, and it was perfect. The seafood four seasons my partner had was also really good, as was the kids fish and chips. My sister (the birthday girl) had ordered a meal which had mashed potato with it. Whilst she was eating her mash she suddenly stopped and spat out her mouthful into her napkin as she had found something hard in it. On closer inspection it turned out to be quite a sizeable cube piece of glass!! It was about the size of a very large piece of rock salt. Lucky for her she suffered no injury, but was rather put off. We immediately informed the Floor Manager who took the meal away and refunded the cost of it. She then told the kitchen who sent a message back to our table via the Floor Manager that they did not have any glass in the kitchen. Well, we were at a loss as to how they thought the glass got into the mash - it was not just on top, it was in the middle of it. She was offered a choice of anything else to eat but declined and went for a mocktail instead. My partner then went up to the cashier (infront of the kitchen) to replace a broken steak knife from our table and observed that there was indeed glass in the kitchen, the icecream sundae glasses, albeit the opposite end to the food preparation area. My sister again spoke to the Floor Manager who apologised and conceded the kitchen had told her there was no glass in the kitchen.
She was lovely and tried her best to keep my sister happy. Did not ruin our night however, as we brought a marble mudcake with us to eat after dinner - they brought it out on a big fancy plate with caramel/chocolate swirls around the plate edge. The rest of the table enjoyed the food, but am a bit disappointed with the kitchen not sending out the chef to apologise and to let us know that changes would be made to ensure that glass does not make its way into any more food. That said, the Floor manager and floor staff were very accommodating - all three stars only for the floor service.

I went there a short while ago. I noticed that they had Beef Wellington on the menu. My favourite food. So I ordered one having been given the assurance that the meat would be tender. When it arrived I managed to eat the pastry. The meat was as tough as boot leather and just as tasty. It appears that the meat an pastry are precooked . Never going back and I live in the suburb. The one heart was for the bangers and mash the wife ordered,
