Can anyone tell me what type of "cling film" she uses to bake pastry blind.

All of the ones I have tried have melted in the oven.

Choc melting moments (cause I can't find them anywhere on the net, so I just copied it down from the TV)!!

    Chocolate Melting Moments

    125g soft butter

    50g icing mixture

    50g cornflour

    25g cocoa

    100g plain flour

Beat the butter with electric beaters until is it creamy.

Sift in all the other ingredients, and beat with beaters until it comes together in a soft dough.

Roll into balls, place on a baking tray, press down lightly with a fork. (You can put them VERY closely together because they do not spread. Make them as big or as small as you want. Should make about 22 biscuits)

    Bake 170oC for 10-12 mins.

Allow to sit on the baking tray for 5 minutes, then place on a cooling rack.

Sandwich together with Nutella or Chocolate spread.

Try not to eat them all at once.

      August 2010

Did you ever find out the breed of Rachel's dog? I have been trying to find out myself. At first I though it might be a soft-coated wheaten terrier, but it does not quite fit. A friend of mine suggested a Portuguese Water Dog, but the coloring isn't right.

Found Rachels "light sweet scones" recipie on-line http://uktv.co.uk/food/recipe/aid/607042

It's a little different to the one on last night, in that the reciie has cream of tatar which I don't remember her adding last night... I think she used 1 heaped tsp of bicarb PLUS 1 rounded tsp of bicarb. Just have to make 2 batches I guess & see which one works best! Beck.
