James Reeson

Celebrity Chef

James Reeson was last seen on the ABC and BBC Worldwide network in his own series, James Can Cook, prior to that James fronted the very popular series, The Occasional Cook. James started his cooking career in Bristol UK, has worked in the best hotel in Plymouth, followed by Burgh Island and next stop – Paris. James' most vivid memory is his time doing laps of the Mediterranean cooking on a sixty-foot ketch and then a Saudi Princes fifty-metre cruiser strapped to a swivelling stove in a kitchen the size of a cupboard! From intimate bistros, to head chef in a two-hundred seat restaurant, James has vast experience working with different kitchens, customers and conditions. Now, James has made Australia his permanent home and believes it is, without doubt, the best 'foodie' place on the planet. "It's so exciting to be able to do what I love five days a week and inspire viewers across Australia to have fun in the kitchen and treat their taste buds with fresh food," Reeson said. "Australia really is home to some of the highest quality ingredients and to be able to have access to such first rate produce is fantastic." James is extremely passionate about his cooking and he loves to use fresh quality ingredients. He has an energetic and inspirational flair that will encourage any home chef – his passion to create delicious dishes really is contagious.
