Glenn's strong commitment to fresh, local, organic produce has followed him on his culinary journey as Head Chef at the Edge in Darlinghurst for 5 years, prior to a stint at the Centennial Hotel in Woollahra for three years from 1997. Sydney's loss was Noosa's gain where he led the field at Season Restaurant on busy Hastings street.
Glenn opened his own Alegria - a treasure to behold in 2002. Recently awarded the "Eighth Best Regional Restaurant in Queensland by Gourmet Traveller Magazine", its inspired Spanish influence creates a menu which is perfect for this exclusive little seaside enclave. Glenn's passionate love of tapas developed whilst travelling through Spain and he has succeeded in its transition to our Australian shores. Alegria is the favourite haunt of locals and visitors who delight in his definitive flavours accompanied by Glenn's hand picked Spanish wines.
