Christie Whelan Browne is one of Australia’s leading musical theatre performers. She has appeared in productions as varied as 'The Importance of Being Earnest', 'Brittney Spears: The Cabaret' and most recently landed a lead role in 'The Rocky Horror Show'.

Born and raised in Melbourne, Christie was drawn to the performing arts from a young age. She burst onto the professional stage at 22 playing Patty Simcox in Grease: The Arena Spectacular, which toured nationally. Her performances were so popular with audiences in Australian that producers immediately flew her to London to reprise the role in The West End.
