I've retired after over 30 years in the health industry. Mother of 3, grand mother of 4, I live to cook. I also spend some time with textile based pursuits like embroidery and patchwork. Hi Fay, I noticed you're into food and textile history - I'm into both as well. What books have you read, I'm always looking for more to read.

  Hi Jackicam. I read a bit online. One blog I follow called The Old Foodie is great. My favourite textile writings are about William Morris and I have a couple of books about historic needlework from the C18 and C19 with some amazing pictures and instructions.Written by Gail Marsh. Sorry I didn't see your comment earlier, we had a major disaster at our house and Life's been a bit disjointed.
