I love cooking no doubt, that's why I'm here. I take to my cooking with great passion though as I love to surprise my family and friends with wonderful dishes that they remember and request again. It gives me great pleasure to cook as it allows me to take a bunch of ingredients and change them into something delicious.
I am originally from India but have been in Melbourne since the age of 8. I cook a whole variety of dishes with a definite soft spot for Indian curries although my favourite cuisines to eat would be Malaysian and Thai - I think I have a thing for coconut.
I would love to travel the world on a food lovers journey and write about it like a gastronomic memoir of some kind.
Of my favourite shows on LifeStyle FOOD channel I would rank Market Kitchen quite highly but would love to see an Australian version of the show that showcases our talented Aussie chefs and our abundance of fresh produce.
My favourite chefs are Jamie Oliver and Nigella Lawson from the overseas department but closer to home I enjoy the stylings of Neil Perry, Iain Hewitson and Kylie Kwong.
Like so many home cooks out there I would love to run my own cafe or restaurant kitchen and be able to share my cooking with even more people.
