Hi HG
I posted a Recipe for Peking Style Roast Duck and Chinese pork. I will also post a recipe for Char Sui style sause for them. You can do both on the Baby Q though you will need a trivet if you don't have one. Get the larger Weber trivet they both work well on the Baby Q.
Hi HG.
You said you had a Weber and would love to roast on it but didn't say what type. Is it Gas or Charcoal/Heatbeds. Let me know and I will give you a specially adapted recipe for Peking Style Duck which will be close to the authentic recipe. I will also explain how to best do it on the BBQto blow the socks off your guests.
Cheers
You stil doing comfort food in this heat?
I've been doing lighter stuff to compliment the weather.... spinach pies, BBQ's with plenty if seafood and salads.
Ciao
Enzo
Hi Hungry Girl, I have tried your recipe 'Prosciuitto Wrap Mozarella'. Since I could not find the prosciuitto here in Jakarta, I used bacon instead and it worked well -at least I liked the result. By the way, you post a question on my recipe about 1 month ago asking where to find the pandan leaf. In Sydney, probably you can find it in China town. Details of pandan leaf is as follows: Pandan leaf is long narrow green leaves of a herbaceous plant used for flavouring and colour. Pandan (P. amaryllifolius) leaves are used in Southeast Asian cooking to add a distinct aroma to rice and curry dishes such as nasi lemak, kaya ('jam') preserves, and desserts such as pandan cake.
