Light Lunch at the Burlington

If you’re after the option of a light, healthy and nutritional lunch in a restaurant setting, then consider booking a table at Burlington Bar & Dining in Sydney’s north.

Launching on March 1st, the new Light Lunch menu, created by Head Chef Jacqui Gowan, is made up of a collection of nutritionally assessed and delicious dishes.

Just $30 will get you a choice of one of the dishes and a glass of Invivo 'Bella' - a delicious low-calorie Sauvignon Blanc bursting with pineapple and passionfruit flavours.

And having being fortunate enough to sample the menu, we can assure you there is absolute no sacrificing of quality or flavour!

Jacqui says: “We wanted to offer locals and beyond a light option for lunch that was both quick and healthy, but also true-to-form and delicious. If people are going back to the office, they don’t want a tummy full of rich, heavy food!”

The Light Lunch dishes include the tasty Heirloom tomato and labna salad, a sweet ’n salty Salmon gravalax with radish, watercress and caper salad, Pan fried Hiramasa kingfish with quinoa, pistachio salad and gremolata and the Oven roasted Milly Hill lamb rump with melizano and cherry tomatoes. The menu even includes a low-fat version of the Burlington splice!
