How to make green beer

For those among us who can’t stomach a Guinness, but want to get into the swing of St Patrick’s day, why not try a green beer?

There’s no special trick, just a couple of drops of green food dye into your beer and a gentle stir.

The paler the beer the stronger the colour will be. A dark beer will still produce a green head if food dye is added.

Don’t forget the traditional cheers - “Slainte” (pronounced slawn-cha)
It means “good health” in Gaelic.
