MasterChef restaurant opens -

The winner of the 2009 Masterchef has just opened his first restaurant. Mat Follas, an IT specialist, won the title of UK Masterchef in February this year and this week realised his dream of opening his own restaurant, The Wild Garlic. True to his winning dishes and creative recipes on Masterchef Follas has highlighted wild produce on his menu, while using his regular column in the Guardian to hear from the public as to how they would like to see the restaurant run.
