These guys were the Champion Chocolatiers at Perth’s Royal Show in 2010 and it is no wonder why. They have more than three hundred chocolate treats at their home grown eco-friendly chocolate wonder house. Koko Black are found Australia wide and there is a good reason they have spread so far across our country. Made using the finest European techniques their products are great to take home or enjoy there. If the weather isn’t the best, there is no better cure than the warm chocolate tart (carefully built with eighty percent dark coverture plus vanilla clotted cream and orange coulis) or warm up with their fresh Belgian hot chocolate. If this isn’t enough, order yourself a coffee while you enjoy their chocolates, their coffee is prize winning (Melbourne-born) St Ali blends.

The Margaret River Chocolate Company has been making chocolates in their twin factories since 1999. Stop in to enjoy their delicious free tasting sessions, or watch the chocolate in its making from start to finish before taking home these award winners. It’s a tough choice with over 200 different products for your consideration. Keep it traditional with fruit and nut, or spice it up a little with some of their home-made truffles. They are from another planet. The Café Royal are also a must have.

Started way back in the depression by the Walker brothers, John Walker Chocolatier began its life as a wholesale confectionary company. The company is still family run and has a run of awards under its belt. All products are made freshly in Western Australia and are preservative and gluten free. The dark chocolate is free from dairy and there are novelty creations of all sorts like their choc cricket bats. You can find these delicacies in different five star hotels and fine dining restaurants- the quality is second to none.
